******MAJOR POWER PLAY******
has now been gelded and is to be the riding horse for Delores. The intention was when he
was born to serve as a stallion until we decided to have him gelded. I grew up riding a
gorgeous palomino and will be doing so again. Its just safer and easier to ride a gelding
in a crowd of horses than a stallion.
Major was a sweet, quiet, loving, puppy dog stallion and is going to love life as a
gelding running with the other horses, going to the Mountains and rides with me. His
incredible beauty and look at me attitude does not hurt at all either.

Sept. 15/04:MAJOR IS COMING HOME AT LAST:
After ten long months in Tennessee Major is finally coming home. He will arrive
third week in Sept.
He left here a gangly undeveloped two year old and is returning a muscled, well ridden,
mature three
year old stallion. It will be like getting a brand new horse for me. I have
not seen him in ten months.
My plan is to put him into a Stable this winter so I can ride him as often as
possible so he does not get out
of condition over the winter months. I will decide as winter goes on whether I
am going to show him next
year or not. It will depend on many things. Last word from Russ is that
he is very talented, very showy,
and should be in the show ring. I will add to this once he is here and I have
had a couple weeks with him
and time to ride him. LOOK FOR A NEW UPDATE THEN.

This young
Stallion is golden and dappled. He has a wonderful puppy dog temperament and is very
gentle and not aggressive. He is great with the babies and likes to play with
them. He is very naturally gaited and shows a great run walk in the pasture with no
pace or trot. He will be a flat shod walking machine. He has a super fast run
walk. Under saddle he will really excel. |
