Gold Champagne Stallion

Sire: Gold Legacy by Pride's Gold Coin

Dam: Legend's Moet by The Legend

I believe its time to update some pictures of Goldmine. He has matured into a full bodied, very gorgeous horse.
He has had a couple foal crops on the ground now and he consistently throws his type. Small Arab like heads, arched necks, shorter backed so not pacey babies. They have his big striding backend and a big front end to work with along with his sweet nature.

I have ridden Goldmine in he Mountains, on the trails, at a clinic all with other mares and geldings and he was easy to handle and sweet.

IMG.jpg (24892 bytes) My 1 1/2 year old granddaughter rides him, with some assistance of course and they both love it.

He is now my only stallion and I do believe he is far too good to become a gelding at this point.

I have three of his offspring, two of which are for sale, a gold and a classic both colts and are coming yearlings.

Legacy's Goldmine is a gorgeous GOLD CHAMPAGNE coming two yr old colt who has well known bloodlines and very sought after bloodlines.   His sire is a son of Pride's Gold Coin and dam is a Gold Champagne mare whose sire is THE LEGEND by Pride's Genius.  Very nice bloodlines in a Champagne colt.

This Colt has great promise as a breeding stallion as he is the whole package.   He has the temperament and walk you want, plus the correct conformation and his GOLD Champagne color is such a nice bonus.

New photos of him will be done this spring once he sheds off and will be posted.

Goldmine has produced a wonderful colt, his
first foal with many more to come spring of
2006.  This colt has exceptional conformation,
great temperment and stride.  He is going to
live with Carrol Richards in Washington and
will become a stallion for her.

On the right is a photo of a horse that is a Gold Champagne and in the background of my stallion, Legacy's Goldmine. You can not have a champagne horse without a champagne parent, it is genetically not possible and I never knew where his color came from.

I am going to do a write up on Goldmines background and explain where his color came from - check back for this in the future.

Legacy's Goldmine in training in March in Alberta.

A balmy day as no snowsuite was required.

Goldmine is in full winter woolies but still looks great.  He is very quiet and sweet to work with and very well gaited barefoot.

Look for new photos once the winter coat is gone.  Click on Photo to zoom.

Here is the sire of Legacy's Goldmine.

This is Gold Legacy.   He is a breathtakingly, beautiful,
liver chestnut, son of Prides Gold Coin.
